VS Code and JetBrains
Both get there through the same extension, and the same file.
Install Continue — as an extension in VS Code, or as a plugin in JetBrains. Both read one config file, so the setup is the same for each.

Get a token and the base URL from the gateway's token page — see Sign-in and tokens.
Configure it
Add this entry to the models list in ~/.continue/config.yaml, then reload the IDE:
~/.continue/config.yaml
models:
- name: Onehouse Gateway
provider: openai
model: <alias>
apiBase: https://ai-gateway-<id>.dp.onehouse.ai/v1
requestOptions:
headers:
X-Onehouse-Authorization: "Bearer <token>"
Then pick Onehouse Gateway in Continue's model list.
| Line | Why |
|---|---|
model | A model name you published on the gateway. List them with GET /v1/models. |
apiBase | Ends in /v1. |
requestOptions.headers | Carries your token in the gateway's own header. |
Do not set apiKey
Continue sends apiKey as a standard Authorization header. The gateway does not accept its token there, and beside X-Onehouse-Authorization it reads that header as your own provider key — see The token header.
The token lives in the file
A person's token lasts 7 days. When it expires, replace it in config.yaml and reload the IDE.
